Komachizuka（Monument to Ono-no-Komachi）
The memorial tower of Ono-no-Komachi(whose birth and death are unknown). She was a female poet of the Heian period(794-1185) and is considered one of the Six Immortal Poets. There is a poem composed on Japanese mountain roses of Tamagawa River. According to the Reizei family chronicles, she ended her life at the age of 69 at Ideiji Temple.
Access: 1.5 km east from JR Tamamizu Station. About 25 minutes on foot.
