Lake Taishou-ike
Spanning about 4ha in area and holding over 230,000 ton of water, the Lake Taishou-ike Reservoir is amongst the largest agricultural reservoirs in Kyoto Prefecture. The lush natural surroundings provide visitors with a perfect spot for some rest and relaxation.

Taishou-ike Green Park(Ide Outdoor Activity Center)
Taisho-ike Green Park's facilities are
・The "Main House Area" where you can stay inside the building, mainly in the main house and bungalows
・The "Momijidani Site" with its day-use BBQ table and outdoor kitchen
・The "Akamatsu Site" with its free tent site and tent deck site
・The "Kajikadani Site" with its AC power outlets and its car-accessible auto site.
Lake Taisho-ike is shaped like the palm of a hand, and at the point where the ring finger is, there is a "bridge of wishes" like an engagement ring.
Opening hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm(reception opens at 9:30am)
Closed: Wednesday(except on national holidays) and New Year's holiday (28/12-4/1).
During the off season, the facility may be closed on days other than Wednesday.
Please be sure to contact us beforehand if you wish to check the facility out.
During winter period (1/12 - 2nd week of March), closed every Wednesday and Thursday.

The gate is closed outside of opening hours and entry and exit is not possible.

Access: About 7.0 km east from JR Tamamizu Station. Take Prefectural Route 321 towards Wazuka. About 80 minutes on foot.(Located on the Yamabuki Hiking Course)
